Haris Rauf memes flooded the internet after the video of the express pacer trying to hit a Pakistan fan while assuming that he was an Indian went viral. The 30-year-old Pakistan cricketer can be seen trying to beat the fan on the USA street despite efforts being made by his wife and three other fans to avoid the ugly brawl.

In the viral video, the fan could be heard saying that he was just asking for a picture and nothing else as a fuming Haris Rauf abuses him and says, "Tera India nahi hai ye (this is not your India)."

The fan quickly corrected him and asserted that he was a Pakistani from Pakistan. Haris Rauf then raises questions on his upbringing despite being from Pakistan.

"Pakistan se hai fir bhi ye haalat hai teri? (Look at your behaviour despite being from Pakistan)," Haris Rauf can be heard saying.

Haris Rauf's wife all the while could be seen trying to avoid the ugly situation. For a moment she also put her hand on Haris Rauf's mouth to stop him from speaking angrily.

Haris Rauf's fight with the fan on street and his mention of 'India' gave users on X (formerly Twitter) enough opportunity to have a field day against him. Have a look.

Haris Rauf finished as the joint-highest wicket-taker for Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2024. He picked seven wickets in four matches at an average of 14.42 and an economy rate of 6.73. The 30-year-old registered figures of 3/21 against India on June 9.

However, he failed to defend 15 runs in the final over against the USA in Pakistan's opening game of the T20 World Cup 2024. Pakistan lost that match against USA after a thrilling Super Over, and later lost to India as well. India and USA qualified for Super 8 from Group A.
