Harmanpreet Kaur quoted controversy on Saturday as the Indian captain broke the stumps in anger and argued with the on-field umpire as she disagreed with the decision of being given lbw during the India-W vs Bangladesh-W third and decisive ODI in Mirpur.
The match ended a tie as India scored 225 all out in 49.3 overs in response to Bangladesh's 225/4 as both the teams shared the title with the series ending 1-1. Harmanpreet Kaur made her feelings apparent during the post-match presentation ceremony as she tore into the decisions made during the match.

The Indian captain minced no words while calling the umpiring pathetic in a match officiated by on-field umpires Muhammad Kamruzzaman and Tanvir Ahmed. Fans were divided on Twitter as well over her actions as Indian fans came in her support while Bangladeshi fans had not-so-nice words to say about the visiting captain. We take a look at some of the reactions from Twitter below:
The incident happened during the second innings of the match as Harmanpreet Kaur and Harleen Deol were on the pitch with the 34th over in progress. The Indian skipper attemped to sweep Bangladesh spinner Nahida Akter and appeared to miss the line as the ball went on to hit the pad.
The resulting lbw appeal was adjudged out by the umpire but Kaur was baffled by the decision as she argued that she nicked the ball before it hits the pad. She couldn't review the decision as DRS system wasn't available for the match.
Harmanpreet Kaur smashed the stumps right after and soon pointed fingers at the official in an animated manner as her words in anger couldn't be caught on the mic. Post the match, the Indian skipper made her feelings apparent.
"I think (there is) a lot of learning for us from the game. Even apart from the cricket, the kind of umpiring that was happening, we were very surprised. The next time we come to Bangladesh we will make sure we have to deal with this type of umpiring and prepare ourselves accordingly," Harmanpreet told the broadcaster after the match.
