Harry Brook became only the sixth English player to score a Triple Century in international Test cricket on Thursday (October 10).
The stylish right-hander decimated hosts Pakistan with his scintillating batting. Earlier Joe Root scored 262 runs and thus became the highest scorer in Test cricket for England, surpassing Alastair Cook.

Harry Brook came into the crease in a tricky situation. The 25-year-old found his touch very early on a flat deck in Multan, scoring runs across the deck quite freely. Brook completed his maiden double hundred earlier in the day, and then kicked on further to score his maiden Triple hundred as well.
With his magnificent knock, Harry Brook has now become the 28th batter to score a Test triple century. Overall, a total of 32 Triple centuries have been scored in Tests and players across eight countries have scored it.
The England star batter ended up with 317 runs in just 322 balls, hitting 29 fours and 3 sixes in the process.
The Headingley Ground in Leeds and Antigua Recreation Ground in St. John's have each hosted three triple centuries. Australian cricketers lead with eight triple centuries, while England now go 2nd in the list jointly with West Indies. Multan also became the second sub-continent ground to host multiple 300s, first being the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
