Harry Brook on Thursday (October 10) slammed the second fastest triple century in terms of balls faced in Tests during day 4 of the Pakistan vs England 1st Test at the Multan Cricket Ground in Multan.
The England batter Brook, who was part of a record-breaking stand with Joe Root (2 reached the milestone in 310 balls. The fastest triple hundred was scored by former India opener Virender Sehwag, who holds the record by getting to 300 in just 278 balls.

Sehwag smashed the fastest triple hundred in Test cricket against South Africa in 2008 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The Indian opener has also scored the fourth fastest triple ton, reaching the landmark in 364 balls at the Multan venue in 2004 against Pakistan.
Former Australian opener Matthew Hayden has the third fastest Test triple century, scoring 300 in 362 balls in 2003 against Zimbabwe at the WACA in Perth. Here is a look at the list of fastest 300s in Tests:
Brook, who walked in to bat at number five, shared a 454-run stand with Root to take England past 800 in response to Pakistan's 556 in their first innings. Brook's innings ended at 317 off 322 balls when he fell to Saim Ayub.
