Harry Brook's triple hundred and Joe Root's 262 vs Pakistan in Multan create flurry of records
Harry Brook became the sixth England batter to hit a triple hundred in Test cricket on Day 4 of the first Test against Pakistan in Multan. The right-hander also became the fifth batter to hit a triple hundred against Pakistan.
The 25-year-old achieved the feat after former England captain Joe Root missed out on his maiden Test triple hundred by 38 runs. Root departed for 262 runs to bring end to a 454-run partnership off 375 balls.

The 454-run partnership between Root and Brook is fourth-highest for any wicket in the history of Test cricket. It's the highest partnership against Pakistan in the format.
