Harsha Bhogle gives it back to Pakistan fan for trolling Indian cricket team: 'You remain small and petty'

Harsha Bhogle has given it back to a Pakistan cricket team fan for trolling the Indian cricket team by posting a video showing them getting all out for 36 in the 2020 Adelaide Test against Australia.

The Pakistan fan posted the video ahead of Pakistan's three-match Test series against Australia which starts in Perth from December 14. "In case you're having a bad day, enjoy this India team's humiliation by Australia," the fan wrote alongside the video posted on Tuesday, December 5.

Harsha Bhogle took note of the post on Wednesday, December 6, and schooled the fan for "seeking joy in someone else's adversity". He reminded the fans of how India bounced back to win the series 2-1 despite losing their key players including Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Hanuma Vihari, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav, and Jasprit Bumrah. The same tour saw India hand Australia their first Test defeat in Brisbane in 28 years.

"I am glad you put this out Farooq because it lead to one of the greatest performances in Test history. This is a case study on how you convert adversity into match winning performances through great courage, outstanding leadership and self-belief.

"When you have that pride, you find new heights. When you seek joy in someone else's adversity, you remain small and petty. So think big, think class, you might just find a wonderful world. Hopefully ....," the veteran commentator wrote on X.

Pakistan, who kick off their campaign under new Test captain Shan Masood in Perth, haven't ever won a Test series in Australia. Out of the 37 Test matches Pakistan have played in Australia, they have managed to win just four times. Pakistan's last Test win in Australia came back in 1995.
