Haryana defeat J&K by 114 runs in U-19 Vinoo Mankad trophy

Srinagar, Sep 27 (UNI) A century by Nitish Saini and six wickets from Jayant Yadev helped Haryana beat Jammu and Kashmir by a huge margin of 114 runs in the under-19 north zone Vinoo Mankad cricket tournament played at University of Kashmir here today.

Jammu and Kashmir won the toss and decided to field first.

Haryana scored 257 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 50 allotted overs.

Natin Saini scored 102 of 127 balls, While Rushil Basker sored 39 and Jayant Yadev 32.

For home team Mudasir took three wickets while Adil Reshi and Parviz took one wicket each.

Jammu and Kashmir could score only 143 runs for the loss of all wickets. Jayant Yadav took six wickets for Haryana.

Mehraj-ud-din scored 31 runs for home team, Parveiz Rasool and skipped Ram Diyal scored 24 runs each.

Jayant Yadev was given man of the match for his best all rounder performance.
