Haryana vs Mumbai Ranji Trophy quarter-final clash, scheduled to begin on Saturday (February 8), has been shifted in the last moment to Eden Gardens in Kolkata from Chaudhary Bansi Lal Cricket Stadium in Rohtak due to 'unavoidable circumstances'.
According to a report in the Indian Express, the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) and Haryana Cricket Association (HCA) were informed about the late venue change by Board of Control for Cricket in India.

The report added that Abey Kuruvilla, the General Manager of the BCCI wrote an email late on Tuesday (February 4), informing MCA and HCA that the match will now be played at Eden Gardens and the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) will take care of all the arrangements.
"We were informed by mail that the Ranji Trophy game between Haryana and Mumbai, to be played in Lahli, has been shifted to Eden Gardens in Kolkata due to unavoidable circumstances. Cricket Association of Bengal will be hosting and taking care of all arrangements," an MCA official was quoted as saying by the Indian Express.
Although there is no specific reason being revealed other than 'unavoidable circumstances', it is believed that fog and inclement weather could be the reason behind for the change in the venue.
The Mumbai team, which will be led by Ajinkya Rahana, was scheduled to reach Lahli on Wednesday (February 4) morning, but are now expected to reach Kolkata later in the day. Mumbai team will also feature the likes of Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dube.
