Hattricks in WPL: UP Warriorz star all-rounder Grace Harris joined a unique list on Saturday (February 22) night after the Australian claimed a hat-trick of wickets in the Women's Premier League.
Harris achieved the feat in the final over of Delhi Capitals' run-chase as her treble along with Chinelle Henry's fireworks with the bat helped UP Warriorz seal their first win of the WPL 2025 campaign - a 33-run victory at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

In the final over of the match and her third over, Harris dismissed Niki Prasad, Arundhati Reddy and Minnu Mani in three successive deliveries to claim her hattrick, which is only the third in WPL history.
Harris first struck with a short delivery as 19-year-old Prasad holed out to Henry at deep midwicket before Arundhati hit a low full toss directly to Shweta Sehrawat at cover- point. The 31-year-old then completed the treble of wickets by catching Minnu Mani off her own bowling.
This final over performance brought down the curtains Delhi Capitals' chase and also brought up her maiden WPL hattrick in the process. She joins former Mumbai Indians pacer Issy Wong and her teammate Deepti Sharma in the rare record.
Issy Wong became the first bowler to take a hat-trick in WPL during the inaugural edition's Eliminator match between Mumbai Indians and UP Warriorz, while Deepti achieved the feat last season during UP Warriorz clash against DC. Here is a look at the hattrick list:
| Player (Team) | Versus | Hattrick Victims | Year |
| Issy Wong (Mumbai Indians) | UP Warriorz | Kiran Navgire, Simran Shaikh & Sophie Ecclestone | 2023 |
| Deepti Sharma (UP Warriorz) | Delhi Capitals | Meg Lanning, Annabel Sutherland & Arundhati Reddy | 2024 |
| Grace Harris (UP Warriorz) | Delhi Capitals | Niki Prasad, Arundhati Reddy & Minnu Mani | 2025 |
Harris, who finished with figures of 4-15 having claimed the key wicket of Annabel Sutherland earlier, shared to the broadcasters that she had manifested about this feat following UPW's win.
"I think I manifested this. I was joking when I was asked what my plans would be in the bowler's meeting and I said I would do this and that and would get a hat-trick. We have these casual meetings," Harris said on Jio Star after the match.
"But they all started laughing when I got it. Now I am going to manifest something with the bat because I am a batting allrounder. But my bowling has been better than my batting off late."
Coming back to the match in Bengaluru, UP Warriorz rode on Chinelle Henry's 23-ball 62 to set a target of 178 before Harris and Kranti Goud's four wicket performances floored Delhi Capitals for 144.
