India are taking on England in an important ICC World Cup 2023 match at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Sunday (October 29).
The Men in Blue have won their first five matches and would be keen to secure their semifinal spot with a win against England. The reigning Champions themselves are in deep mud, having just a solitary victory in five matches.

And ahead of India's match, fans in Varanasi performed 'Havan' for the victory of the Indian team.
Havan is a Hindu ritual which is performed to bring good fortune and drive away the evils. Fans were seen performing the ritual with Indian flags with them. They were also seen having posters of KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli with them.
India will be missing star all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who damaged his left ankle in the Bangladesh match. Pandya didn't feature in the last match against New Zealand and looks set to be sidelined again.
England know only a victory can keep them afloat in the tournament. They have been outperformed by almost all the teams in this tournament so far, and it will be a daunting task for them to turn things around against the mighty Indian side.
