"Get a graduate degree first" - Ramiz Raja makes a scathing attack to 'delusional' Shoaib Akhtar

The infight among the Pakistan cricketers and ex-cricketers is something quite unprofessional but vividly prevalent. It has stemmed long back and it has continued to take even uglier turns these days.

And in a series of recent events, two former Pakistan players have involved themselves in another war of words. Former PCB chairman and player Ramiz Raja has taken a massive dig at ex-speedster Shoaib Akhtar.

Shoaib Akhtar recently criticised Pakistan batter Babar Azam and said the latter doesn't have the proper communication skills, stating that Babar's English is not up to the mark. Since then, Akhtar has felt the wrath across Pakistan for his comments and Ramiz Raja is the latest to voice his opinion against the former fast bowler.

Ramiz Raja termed Akhtar 'a delusional superstar' and says he first needs to become a human.

"Shoaib Akhtar is a delusional superstar. He also had an issue recently with Kamran Akmal. He wants everyone to become a brand, but it is more important to become a human first. First, become a human and then a brand," Raja said in a recent interview with Bol News.

Our former players degrade our cricket brand by giving delusional statements. You will never see that happening in our neighbouring country. You will never see Sunil Gavaskar criticizing Rahul Dravid. It only happens in Pakistan, where former players don't let others do their job professionally," he added.

There have been rumours that Shoaib Akhtar wants to become the PCB chairman. Raja was the most recent PCB chairman before his departure from the post as Najam Sethi replaced him. And after being asked about Akhtar's aspirations to become the PCB chairman, Raja commented with the player's educational degree and says he needs to get graduated first.

"He needs to get a graduate degree first in order to become eligible for the chairmanship of PCB," Raja further added.

Shoaib Akhtar has his own YouTube channel where he gives unfiltered reviews of cricket matches and the cricketing scenario of Pakistan. Ramiz Raja has also recently started his own YouTube channel.
