Its Hyderabad vs Lahore in ICL finals

Ahmedabad: In a nail biting finish, Hyderabad Heroes defeated Royal Bengal Tigers by 3 wickets, overhauling the victory target of 162 runs with just 3 balls to spare in the semi-finals of ICL 20s Indian Championship here tonight.

Now Hyerabad Heroes will taken on Lahore Badshahs, who had beaten Chennai Superstars in yesterday's semin-finals, in the best of three finals to be played at the same venue on November 13, 15, and 17.

Hyderabad Heroes' victory was carved out by STR Binny with his enterprising knock of 45 runs in just 26 balls, studded with as many as four towering sixes and two hits to the ropes. For this, Binny was rightly adjudged as the Man-of-Match.




Besides Binny, I Khaleel and Abdul Razzaq contributed brilliantly with personal scores of 32 and 26 runs, respectively.

Earlier, batting first Royal Bengal Tigers powered by two brilliant performances by Lance Klusner and Rohan Gawaskar, who made 78 and 74 respectively, made 161 runs in the stipulated 20 overs.

Klusner's knock of 78 runs was made in 54 balls with the help of 4 sixes and four boundaries. While, Gawaskar scored his 74 runs in 47 balls with hitting 4 sixes and 6 hits to the ropes.
