There are a couple of scenario through which India can progress to the semifinals.

In that case, India are likely to finish 2nd as the South Africans will have to lose against Zimbabwe by a mammoth margin to go below India's NRR.

Scenario 2

India can also qualify for the semifinals with one victory, but that is highly risky and not idea. In this case, India will have to beat West Indies even if they lose against Zimbabwe, and hope that the Proteas beat Zimbabwe by a decent margin.
