Railways seamer Himanshu Sangwan has emerged as a key performer in the ongoing Ranji Trophy, showcasing his skill and consistency on the field. His latest achievement, dismissing Virat Kohli during the fixture against Delhi at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, has brought him into the limelight.
Sangwan, a 29-year-old ticket collector with Northern Railways, has been a steady performer for his team since making his debut in 2019. Playing his 24th first-class match, he delivered a match-defining spell, outclassing one of India's premier batters with a phenomenal delivery.

Former India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin also heaped praises on the Railways pacer after his heroic performance against Delhi.
"Himanshu Sangwan delivered a phenomenal ball. He is not an ordinary Ranji Trophy bowler. He is a tested performer," Ashwin said.
"He is a gold-dust performer. He bowled an exceptional delivery. There was a gap between pad and bat, it was a class delivery. The ball deserved a wicket," Ashwin added.
Sangwan celebrated the prized wicket of Kohli with great enthusiasm, acknowledging its significance in his career.
Sangwan has enjoyed a decent season under his belt in the Ranji Trophy. The 29-year-old has picked up 18 wickets this season. He started the season with 4 wickets against Chandigarh, and then also managed a fifer against Jharkhand. In terms of batting, Himangshu's highest score of 29 runs came in the first innings against Delhi.
