“Hydration Is Not Just Water”: Rohit Sharma Launches hydRo365 Fitness Brand On Birthday
Rohit Sharma has launched his own fitness brand, hydRo365, a hydration brand built around electrolytes for daily use. The brand has been positioned as a solution to tackle the widespread problems of dehydration, which often goes unnoticed in the county.
The brand was launched on the auspicious occasion of the former Indian captain's birthday on April 30, in the middle of the peak summer. The brand not only targets sportspersons but also office workers, students and commuters as well who want hydration as an integral part of their daily routine.

Rohit Sharma hydRo365 Brand
Rohit announced hydRo365 through an Instagram Reel to millions of followers, framing hydration as a basic building block of performance. "I've always believed performance starts with the basics. Hydration is one of them, and most of us are getting it wrong because water is not enough," Rohit wrote on Instagram.
The post highlighted a key figure behind the brand's idea: 75% of people are already dehydrated before their day starts. hydRo365 is presented as a straightforward fix to this gap, especially for Indians who may not recognise early signs of fluid and electrolyte loss.
The name blends "hydro" with Rohit's nickname, inserting "Ro" into hydRo365, while "365" signals use through the year. The concept aligns with fierce Indian summers and rising awareness of electrolyte depletion, making the April 30 launch feel timely and seasonally relevant.
On Instagram, Rohit summed up the offering as, "Simple, effective, made for everyone who wants to give their 100% everyday," signalling that hydRo365 aims to reach beyond cricket fans. The active handle @hydro365.official began posting on Wednesday, setting the stage for wider digital promotion.
Other Athlete-Led Brands
With hydRo365, Rohit joins other Indian cricketers who now own brands in health and lifestyle categories. Virat Kohli runs One8, while MS Dhoni is linked with several ventures, marking a shift from pure endorsements to long-term business ownership by elite athletes.
Rohit, who turns 38 today, already holds the record for the highest individual score in One Day Internationals and captained India to the ICC T20 World Cup title in 2024.
