Rasikh Salam Dar is raring to play for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL 2025 and says it is a dream come true for him.
Rasikh, the fast bowler from Jammu and Kashmir, has made headlines by becoming the most expensive uncapped player at the IPL 2025 auction.

Purchased by RCB for an impressive Rs 6 crore, the young pacer's journey is a testament to hard work and resilience. Now, Rasikh is eagerly preparing to don the RCB jersey alongside his idol, Virat Kohli.
The move to RCB is a dream come true for Rasikh, who has been a consistent performer in domestic cricket. Despite the hefty price tag, the 23-year-old remains focused on delivering for his new team. Speaking about the opportunity, he expressed his excitement and humility.
"It's a great team. I love RCB, especially Virat Bhaiya," Rasikh said to MyKhel in an exclusive interview.
"I'm not looking at the money or the tag of being the most expensive uncapped player. I just want to perform for my team and help RCB win matches. That's the main goal," he added.
The chance to play for RCB is not only a professional milestone but also a personal achievement for Rasikh, who has grown up admiring Kohli's game and leadership. Sharing the dressing room with the RCB stalwart is a moment Rasikh cherishes deeply.
"It's a big thing for me. It's like a dream come true to play with Virat Bhaiya [Virat Kohli], and share the dressing room with him. Virat Bhaiya is someone we all look up to in terms of fitness, mindset, and everything. Sharing a dressing room with him will be a huge learning experience. I will try to win the matches for him as well."
The young bowler is also relieved that his first encounter with Kohli will likely be in the nets rather than in a match. Beyond the awe of playing with his idol, Rasikh is committed to contributing to RCB's campaign for their maiden IPL title.
