I was only looking at Sree's hands when he took the catch: Dhoni

Mumbai, Sep 26 (UNI) Captain of the victorious Indian team Mahendra Singh Dhoni today said that after Misbah ul-Haq had skied the ball towards fine leg in the last over, his eyes were only on Sreesanth's hands waiting to see when the ball would settle on them.

Speaking after he and his team members were felicitated at the Wankhede stadium by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sharad Pawar, the Indian captain said words could not describe the overwhelming feeling he and his team have after the welcome they received in Mumbai today.

Dhoni said, ''When we won the World Cup, we knew it was a huge achievement. However, when we arrived here this morning, we came to realise how equally big this win is for our countrymen.'' ''We know that Mumbai is a city which is always on the move, but today we were able to bring it to a standstill.'' Speaking about the new young Team India, Dhoni said the whole team was relaxed from the beginning. ''Since there was a low level of expectation from this team, the players could play without pressure and show what they were made of.'' He also noted that nowadays players from small towns were performing better and were also mentally stronger since they did not get the kind of infrastructure the metro kids get and therefore have to fight to get their needs, making them mentally strong.
