International Cricket Council (ICC) has banned prankster and cricket fan Daniel Jarvo, famously known as Jarvo 69, from attending the remainder of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 following his pitch invasion during India vs Australia match on Sunday (October 8).
Jarvo 69, as he is known among cricket fans, known famously for breaching the security and invading pitches during matches, repeated his antics during the first innings of the India and Australia clash at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

While Jarvo, who donned the India jerset with Jarvo 69 on the back was soon escorted by the security, he was seen speaking to star India batter Virat Kohli. ICC, however, have announced his ban from attending any further matches in the World Cup.
"The safety and security of everyone involved in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 is our priority. We will work with the venue to understand what happened and consider if any additional security measures are required to prevent it from happening again.
"The individual concerned has been banned from attending any further games at the event and the matter is in the hands of the Indian authorities," ICC said in a statement.
This isn't the first time the YouTube prankster has invaded the cricket field. Notably, Jarvo also interrupted the action between India and England in the second and fourth Test of the series back in 2021.
Jarvis, who had breached security during India's tour of England in 2021, was charged with assault and arrested as he had collided with Jonny Bairstow.
