By Super Admin

Mumbai, Feb 24: The International Cricket Council (ICC)'s effort to end the tussle between Indian Cricket Board and the rebel Twenty20 league that is the Indian Cricket League (ICL)'s ended in failure on Monday, Feb 23. In a news release ICC said that the ICL application to be recognised as unofficial cricket will be reviewed in ICC Board meet in Dubai in April.

David Morgan, the ICC president expressed his disappointment over the failure of talks which occured in Johannesburg. ICL was started by one of the largest media firm in India after the success of India in the inaugural Twenty20 World Cup in 2007. Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) refused to recognise it in fear of losing its position and appealed to other nations to ban players who signed up for ICL.
