The award was presented by Harsh Mariwala, Chairman of Marico Limited, and KVS Manian, MD & CEO of Federal Bank, at a grand event held at the JIO World Convention Centre in Mumbai.

Mr. Shah's journey in cricket administration has been nothing short of remarkable. From his tenure as the Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to becoming the youngest-ever ICC Chair, he has redefined the sport's governance. Under his leadership, the Women's Premier League (WPL) was launched, bringing greater visibility and opportunities to women's cricket. He also spearheaded pay parity for cricketers, ensuring equal remuneration across genders, and played a key role in expanding the National Cricket Academy (NCA) with a state-of-the-art Centre of Excellence.

His commitment to the welfare of former players led to a significant increase in monthly pensions, demonstrating his holistic approach to cricket's growth. Furthermore, his efforts in enhancing global collaborations and strengthening infrastructure have made a lasting impact on the sport. As a visionary leader, Jay Shah continues to drive cricket into a new era of inclusivity, modernization, and excellence, making his recognition at FILA 2025 truly well-deserved.
