The International Cricket Council (ICC) is gearing up for the highly anticipated 2025 Champions Trophy, set to be hosted in Pakistan. An ICC delegation is scheduled to visit Lahore from 10 to 12 November to evaluate preparations for the event.
During this visit, a significant announcement is expected regarding the official schedule and other essential details of the tournament. As per Cricket Pakistan, sources indicate that the proposed schedule has already been shared with member countries, allowing them to assess and plan for the competition.

The visit provides the ICC with an opportunity to ensure that Pakistan’s arrangements meet international standards. The tournament is set to be held from 19 February to 9 March, with the final match planned for 9 March in Lahore, which will also have a reserve day on 10 March.
Matches will be played across three major venues: Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. Lahore will host seven matches, including the high-profile India vs Pakistan clash on 1 March and the final. The National Stadium in Karachi is set to host the opening match as well as one of the semi-finals, while Rawalpindi will host five matches, including the second semi-final.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is reportedly awaiting discussions with the Indian government to finalise their participation, given that the matches will be hosted in Pakistan. An event in Lahore on 11 November, featuring key cricket figures, is expected to formally unveil the schedule and other important details.
