ICC ODI Team of the Year for 2023: The ICC on Tuesday, January 2023 announced the men's ODI Team of the Year for 2023 and named Rohit Sharma the captain. As many as six players from India have found place in the ICC Men's ODI Team of the Year 2023.
Two Australia players - Travis Head and Adam Zampa, two South Africa players - Heinrich Klaasen (wk) and Marco Jansen, and Daryl Mitchell from New Zealand have found place in the ICC ODI Team of the Year for 2023.

Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, Kuldeep Yadab, Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj are the five other Indian cricketers to find place in the prestigious Men's ODI Team of the Year for 2023.
Rohit Sharma was in top form in the World Cup 2023. He finished as the second-highest (597) run-scorer behind Virat Kohli (765). Overall, he scored 1255 runs at an average of 52. Shubman Gill was the leading run-scorer in ODI cricket in 2023. The right-hand opener scored 1584 runs. Kohli scored 1377 ODI runs in 2023.
Travis Head was adjudged Man of the Match in the World Cup 2023 semi-final and final. On the night of final, Head smashed 137 runs against against India as Australia won their sixth World Cup title.
Daryl Micthell of New Zealand smashed five impressive hundreds and collected a total of 1204 ODI runs at an imposing average of 52.34 in 2023. He scored 552 runs in the World Cup 2023 at an average of 69 and a strike rate of 111.06.
South Africa's Heinrich Klaseen has been named the wicketkeeper-batter, while his compatriot Marco Jansen has found place as the fast-bowling all-rounder.
