England batter Harry Brook and Australian women all-rounder Ashleigh Gardner have won the respective awards as the ICC Player of the Month for February.

Harry Brook: Men's player of the Month

England's Harry Brook was voted the best men's player for the month of February after his amazing run of form. The English batter received his second POTM award after winning it earlier in December 2022.

Brook scored two fifties and a hundred in February, all coming in the Test format. The English youngster reached new heights in the recent Test series against New Zealand, where he scored 89 and 54 in the first Test, and then scored 186 runs in the second Test to bring up his 4th Test century only in his 10th Test inning.

"To win this award twice in a matter of months is a real honour. I'd like to thank my teammates and management of the England teams, who have been supportive and back me to play to my strengths," Brook said.

Ashleigh Gardner: Women's player of the Month

Australia's Ashleigh Gardner won the award in the women's category. She was instrumental in Australia's triumph in the recent Women's T20 World Cup and received the player of the tournament award.

She scored 110 runs in the T20 World Cup and along with that picked up 10 wickets as well. Her best figure in the T20 WC was 5/12 against New Zealand while she also scored 31 and 29 in the semi-final and final respectively.
