ICC Player of the Month for October: South Africa wicketkeeper-batter Quinton de Kock, New Zealand all-rounder Rachin Ravindra and India pacer Jasprit Bumrah have been nominated for ICC Player of the Month Award for October.
The three players have set the World Cup 2023 on fire. Quinton de Kock is the leading run-scorer of the ongoing tournament with 550 runs in 8 matches. 431 of these runs came in October.

The left-hand opener hit back-to-back hundreds against Sri Lanka and Australia during South Africa's first two World Cup matches, and then added a brilliant 174 against Bangladesh in Mumbai. The 30-year-old, who is set to retire from ODI cricket after the event, also took 10 catches and completed one stumping.
New Zealand's 23-year-old Rachin Ravindra was also sensational in the month of October. He smashed a hundred in his debut World Cup match against defending champions England. Towards the end of the month, the southpaw scored 116 against Australia. He scored 406 runs at an average of 81.20 in New Zealand's first six games at the tournament during October.
To top things off, Rachin Ravindra also picked three wickets with his over the course of the month with his slow left-armers. Overall, he is third (523) on the list of highest run-scorers in the World Cup 2023 after de Kock and Virat Kohli.
De Kock and Ravindra will have to compete with India pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah. Continuing his sensational return from injury, Bumrah picked14 wickets at an economy rate of 3.91 for the hosts during the month of October.
The 29-year-old played a key role in keeping India unbeaten at the ICC marquee event. Bumrah's best figures came when he collected four wickets for 39 runs against Afghanistan in Delhi on October 11. He also impressed with his 16 with the bat and 3/32 with the ball against England in Lucknow on October 29.
