The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium is set to open its gates for the first time on June 1, hosting a much-anticipated warm-up match between India and Bangladesh.
This event comes ahead of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, marking a significant moment for cricket fans, especially those residing in Nassau County.

The county's residents, alongside existing World Cup ticket-holders and fans who have registered for early access, will get a first look at the tickets starting Wednesday at 10:00am EST.
The general public will have their chance to secure tickets from Thursday at 10:00am EST, available through the official ticketing website.
Securing a pre-sale access code is essential for fans eager to purchase tickets before they are released to the broader public. Nassau County officials and T20 USA, Inc. have arranged to email these codes to local residents and those who have previously purchased World Cup tickets.
The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up fixtures have been scheduled from May 27 to June 1, spanning locations across the USA and in Trinidad and Tobago. A total of 16 warm-up matches will take place, with the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, Broward County Stadium in Florida, and two venues in Trinidad and Tobago set to host these games.
These matches, played over 20 overs per side, will allow teams to utilize all members of their 15-player squad, offering a unique spectacle as they prepare for the World Cup.
However, fans will only have the opportunity to attend one match in Nassau County, New York, and another in the West Indies, making the India vs. Bangladesh game a not-to-be-missed event.
India and Bangladesh's clash at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium not only highlights the growing interest in cricket in the United States but also serves as a testament to the sport's expanding global footprint.
