ICC T20 World Cup 2026 Prize Money: Full Team-Wise Distribution, How Much India, New Zealand and Others Earned

Prize Money Distribution for ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed the final distribution of the $11.25 million players' prize money pool following the conclusion of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, with champions India national cricket team receiving the largest share.

India earned $2,639,423 from the prize pool after their title-winning campaign, while runners-up New Zealand national cricket team secured $1,422,692. Semi-finalists South Africa national cricket team and England national cricket team received $1,005,577 and $974,423 respectively.

The prize distribution follows the record-breaking increase in ICC prize money announced in 2024, ensuring higher financial rewards for teams across all stages of the tournament.

Teams that reached the Super 8 stage also received substantial payouts. West Indies national cricket team earned $538,269, while Pakistan national cricket team took home $522,692. Emerging side Zimbabwe national cricket team collected $491,538, followed by Sri Lanka national cricket team with $475,962.

Among the teams eliminated earlier in the competition, Afghanistan national cricket team, Australia national cricket team, and United States national cricket team each received $309,808.

Meanwhile, Scotland national cricket team earned $278,654, Ireland national cricket team took home $271,731, while Italy national cricket team, Netherlands national cricket team, United Arab Emirates national cricket team, and Nepal national cricket team each collected $256,154.

The remaining teams - Canada national cricket team, Namibia national cricket team, and Oman national cricket team - received $225,000 as base participation payment.

According to the ICC, the amounts represent gross prize money accumulated through group-stage performance, Super 8 progression, semi-final and final appearances, along with win bonuses during the tournament. Each participating team was guaranteed a base payment of $225,000, with additional earnings determined by match results and final standings.

The prize money totals are calculated before any applicable tax deductions or compliance requirements, the ICC confirmed.
