Dubai, Nov 20: Indian cricketers have made big gains in the latest ICC rankings for white-ball cricket, with several players achieving career-best rankings and making notable advancements.
Hardik Pandya, Tilak Varma, Sanju Samson and Arshdeep Singh played crucial role in Team India's emphatic T20I series win over South Africa in the latter's backyard have seen a big jump in their respective rankings in the shortest format.

The star India cricketer, Hardik Pandya has returned to the top of the ICC T20I all-rounder rankings. His rise to the No. 1 position follows a phenomenal display in the recent 3-1 T20I series victory over South Africa. Pandya's all-around brilliance, contributing both with the bat and the ball, proved instrumental in the series triumph.
Young batting prodigy Tilak Varma has climbed an astonishing 69 places to enter the top 10 of the ICC Men's T20I batting rankings. Varma, who amassed 280 runs in the South Africa series, including two back-to-back centuries, was named Player of the Series Down Under.
His exploits have catapulted him to the third spot, making him the highest-ranked Indian batter, ahead of team captain Suryakumar Yadav, who is currently placed fourth.
Sanju Samson - who slammed two centuries against South Africa - also made significant progress, reaching the 22nd spot in the T20I batting rankings after a consistent showing against South Africa.
In the ICC Men's T20I bowling rankings, Arshdeep Singh continues to impress with his left-arm pace. He has achieved a career-best ninth spot, solidifying his position as a key bowler for India in the shortest format.
South African batters Tristan Stubbs and Heinrich Klaasen have also made strides in the T20I batting rankings, occupying the 23rd and 59th spots, respectively.
Sri Lanka's players have been rewarded for their recent successes. Kusal Mendis, who shares the 12th spot in the T20I batting rankings, and Maheesh Theekshana, ranked sixth in the ODI bowling rankings, showcased consistent performances in their series win against New Zealand.
Avishka Fernando and Mendis also climbed the ODI batting rankings, while New Zealand's Will Young moved up to 22nd in the ODI rankings after a string of solid contributions.
