India's Jasprit Bumrah continues to dominate the bowlers' rankings, setting a new personal best with a rating of 908 in the latest ICC Test Rankings released on Wednesday.
Bumrah had previously achieved the highest-ever ICC rating for an Indian bowler, 907, ahead of the fifth Test against Australia.

He extended his lead by one more point after claiming two wickets in the first innings at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). Unfortunately, a back spasm forced him to miss the second innings, limiting his contribution to batting.
In the same rankings, Ravindra Jadeja also made progress, climbing to joint-ninth position, alongside Australian pacer Scott Boland. Boland's impressive performance, including a 10-wicket haul (4/31 and 6/45) in the Sydney Test, propelled him into the top 10, marking a leap of 29 places. His efforts played a significant role in Australia's victory, which ended a 10-year drought in reclaiming the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Australian captain Pat Cummins also saw improvement in his ranking, moving up to second place after taking five wickets in the final Test. South Africa's Kagiso Rabada moved up one spot to third, while Australia's Josh Hazlewood, due to injury, dropped two places to fourth.
On the batting front, India's Rishabh Pant gained three positions, jumping to ninth after his explosive 33-ball 61 in the second innings. Meanwhile, India's Yashasvi Jaiswal retained his fourth spot. South Africa's Temba Bavuma further solidified his form by scoring a vital century in the first innings, climbing three spots to sixth, also achieving a career-high rating of 769.
In addition, Kyle Verreynne's excellent century in the same match propelled him four spots up the rankings, securing 25th position.
