Team India's emphatic 295-run victory over Australia in the first Test of their ICC World Test Championship series in Perth has led to significant changes in the latest ICC Test Rankings.
Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jasprit Bumrah are among the biggest gainers, with star batter Virat Kohli also making a noteworthy return to the top 20 following his heroic knock in the series opener.

Jasprit Bumrah's stellar performance in Perth, where he claimed match figures of 8/72 (5/30 and 3/42), has propelled him to the No. 1 position in the ICC Men's Test Bowling Rankings.
Bumrah - who led Team India in the historic match at Optus Stadium - now holds 883 rating points, surpassing Josh Hazlewood and Kagiso Rabada. This tally marks the highest-ever for an Indian seam bowler. Only spinners Ravichandran Ashwin (904) and Ravindra Jadeja (899) have achieved higher points for India.
This is Bumrah's third stint at the top this year, following similar runs in February and October. His consistent brilliance continues to establish him as a pivotal force in India's bowling arsenal.
Young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has reached a career-best second position in the Test batting rankings, leapfrogging Harry Brook and Kane Williamson. Jaiswal's commanding knock of 161 in the second innings at Perth played a crucial role in India's dominance, earning him this remarkable milestone in only his second year of international cricket.
Virat Kohli's unbeaten century (100*) in Perth has propelled him nine spots to 13th position. After falling out of the top 20 for the first time in a decade, Kohli's resurgence reflects his determination to return to elite form. With this latest leap, the former captain inches closer to reclaiming a spot in the top 10.
Despite the loss, Travis Head's gritty 89 in the second innings saw him climb back into the top 10. However, Steve Smith's lean run (0 and 17) caused him to slip to seventh place-his lowest ranking since December 2014. Mitchell Marsh and Alex Carey also saw minor improvements.
West Indies' commanding win over Bangladesh also resulted in gains for several players as Alick Athanaze jumped up 18 places to 62nd in batters, and Jayden Seales reached a career-best 11th among bowlers. Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed moved up to 51st after a six-wicket haul for Bangladesh.
ICC ODI Rankings Update
In the ODI rankings, star Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan reclaimed the No. 1 spot among ODI bowlers and Pakistan batter Saim Ayub - who smashed a match-winning century against Zimbabwe - jumped 80 places to 90th.
Team India's victory in Perth also propelled them back to the top of the ICC World Test Championship standings with a win percentage of 61.11. Australia trail in second place with 57.69 percentage points.
