With less than a month until the much-anticipated ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024, the journey to the tournament has officially begun with the launch of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Trophy Tour, powered by DP World.
The tour started in grand fashion on 3 September, with the coveted trophy showcased across Dubai's most famous landmarks, marking 30 days before the tournament's first match at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

The trophy embarked on a remarkable 24-hour journey through Dubai, stopping at several iconic locations, including the Half Desert Dubai, Dubai Frame, Museum of the Future, and the stunning Dubai Sunrise.
This impressive start has set a high standard for the rest of the tour, building excitement for what is expected to be the most thrilling edition of the tournament yet.
Following its Dubai showcase, the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Trophy is now heading to India. The tour will arrive in Bengaluru on 6 September, where it will be displayed at the Karnataka Institute of Cricket (KIOC), known for developing young female cricket talent.
The trophy will then travel to Mumbai on 10 September. Fans in Bengaluru will get a chance to see the trophy up close at Nexus Mall on 7 and 8 September, while those in Mumbai can visit Infinity Mall, Malad, on 14 and 15 September.
After the India leg, the trophy will continue its journey through Sri Lanka and Bangladesh before returning to the UAE for the tournament's opening ceremony. This international tour is part of the ICC's mission to engage fans around the world and boost the global reach of women's cricket.
