Star opener Smriti Mandhana, wicketkeeper-batter Richa Ghosh and all-rounder Deepti Sharma included as India dominate the ICC Women's T20I Team of Year 2024 which was revealed by the global cricket governing body on Saturday (January 25).
Apart from the three Indians, two South Africans, one player each from Sri Lanka, England, West Indies, Ireland and Pakistan also made the cut alongside only one T20 World Cup winner from New Zealand as ICC started revealed their award winners from Friday (January 24).

Mandhana and Deepti were also named in the ICC ODI Team of the Year 2024. Now the Indian duo find their names in the T20I team of the year alongside wicketkeeper Ghosh after some top performances.
The ICC all-star team will be captained by South Africa's Laura Wolvaardt, who led her team to significant victories, including a standout win over Australia in Canberra, and also captained her team all the way to the T20 World Cup final, which they lost to New Zealand.
Wolvaardt is joined by her teammate and all-rounder Marizanne Kapp, who contributed both with the bat and ball last year. Sri Lankan skipper Chamari Athapaththu also made the cut having led her team to victory in the Women's Asia Cup.
The team also features West Indies all-rounder Hayley Matthews, England's Nat Sciver-Brunt, New Zealand's Melie Kerr, the Player of the Tournament in their T20 World Cup triumph. Kerr claimed 29 wickets in 18 matches at an average of 15.55. Her best performance was a 4/26 against Australia, which helped her team claim the title.
Irish pace bowling all-rounder Orla Prendergast and Pakistani left-arm spinner Sadia Iqbal complete the XI of the ICC Women's T20I Team of 2024. Here is the Women's T20I best XI of 2024:
