ICC Women's World Cup 2022: Teams, Schedule, Venues, Time in IST, Live Streaming Details in India

The 12th edition of the ICC Women's World Cup is all set to start from Friday (March 4) with the hosts New Zealand taking on West Indies in the tournament opener at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui.

Bengaluru, March 1: The 12th edition of the ICC Women's World Cup is all set to start from Friday (March 4) with the hosts New Zealand taking on West Indies in the tournament opener at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui.

Apart from the hosts and West Indies, six other teams - six-time champions Australia, four-time champions England, two-time runners up India, South Africa, Pakistan and women's World Cup debutants Bangladesh will compete for the world champions crown.

All eight nations will battle each other in single league format with each side playing the other once and the top four advancing to the semifinals, which is scheduled to take place on March 30 and March 31 followed by the final on April 3.

A total of 31 matches, including the 3 knockout matches, will be staged across six venues in Mount Maungauni, Dunedin, Hamilton, Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. While Christchurch will host one semifinal and the final, Wellington will host the other semifinal.
