The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 is around the corner as it starts from Thursday (October 5). The biggest event in the game of cricket is set to take centre stage for the next six weeks or so as ten nations across the globe battle it out for the glory.

England, the 2019 Champions will be aiming to defend their title, while the hosts India will be dreaming of replicating the feat which they achieved 12 years back. The onus will also be on Rohit Sharma and co. to win the tournament and if they achieve that, it will be the 4th consecutive time that the host country will lift the ODI World Cup.

Pakistan, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand are also strong contenders and can be a world-beater on their day.
