He finished ahead of second-placed Quinton de Kock with a 168-run margin. Rohit Shama scored 47 to take his aggregate of the tournament to 597 runs.

Mohammad Shami ended with most wickets at the ICC World Cup as he finished ahead of Adam Zampa when he took the wicket of David Warner (24th wicket) off his second ball of the match.
