ICC World Cup 2023: The New Zealand men's cricket team has been ever-present in the ICC ODI World Cup since it's inception in 1975, but have never managed to lift coveted title so far and will be attempting to land their first title in the upcoming show-piece tournament.
New Zealand led by Kane Williamson will battle nine other teams, including two time champions and hosts India, record champions Australia, defending champions England and former winners Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the upcoming edition of the 50-over World Cup.

In the 12 editions held so far, New Zealand has gone near yet to so far, having finished as runners up in the most recent World Cups in 2015 and 2019. The New Zealand team has also reached the semifinal or quarterfinal or super six stage in eight other editions.
