The Pakistan cricket team is all set to fly to India for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 after the Indian High Commission on Monday (September 26) granted their visas.
Babar Azam-led side will travel to the neighbouring country for the 45-day show-piece event later this week as the squad looks to get some preparation under their belt ahead of the warm up fixtures. The visa issue reportedly disrupted Pakistan's preparations for the World Cup.

The 18-member squad, including the travelling reserves, was scheduled to hold a two-day training camp in Dubai ahead of its warm-up game, but will now have to make do with whatever time they get when they arrive in India.

Babar Azam's side will face New Zealand in the first warm up match on Friday (September 29), two days after they arrive in India. They will next face Australia on Tuesday (October 3). Both matches will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
