India will take on the Netherlands in their second warm-up match of ICC World Cup 2023 on Tuesday (October 3) at the Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.
India's first warm-up match against England was called off due to rain, without a ball being bowled. This will be the last chance for India to test their bench strength and work on the starting 11 before they start their World Cup campaign against Australia. (Scroll down for the live blog)

So, here is the official call: The match is abandoned! For the second time in a row, India's warm-up match has been called off without a ball being bowled! India will now start their World Cup campaign against Australia on Sunday (October 8).
Here we go again! It's pouring down and the covers are on, as the rain has started playing the 'cat & mouse' race, once again. There was a lot of criticism around the IND-AUS ODI series as to how it could lead to Indian players' physical fatigue. However, in hindsight, it looks like a vital series to happen, helping India in their preparation for the World Cup, especially with the first warm-up match, getting called off and the second on the verge of the same!
The covers are being removed and we might see some action soon.
