ICL may sue Yousuf for terminating contract

By Super Admin

Karachi, Mar.27 (ANI): The management of the rebel Indian Cricket League (ICL) has warned that it will not hesitate to sue Pakistan middle-order batsman Mohammad Yousuf if he opts out of his present contract to resume his international cricket career with Pakistan.

According to ICL sources, Yousuf will be dragged to court if he bids adieu to the league without consulting the ICL management.

The ICL fears that Yousuf's exit could incite other Lahore Badshah players like Abdul Razzaq, Imran Farhat, Imran Nazir, Mohammad Sami and Rana Naved-ul-Hasan to follow suit.

The ICL is scheduled to start in October, but there is a cloud of uncertainty hovering over it, The News reports.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Ijaz Butt said Yousuf would be included in the national team after he quits the ICL.

Pakistan captain Younis Khan has expressed a desire to have Yousuf back in the team. (ANI)
