Pakistan's fast bowling sensation Ihsanullah has set his sights on a fiery comeback, vowing to silence his critics by bowling at speeds exceeding 150 kph, potentially reaching 160 kph within a month.
The 22-year-old's bold claim comes after enduring a series of injuries that sidelined him during crucial phases of his career. However, Ihsanullah's determination remains unshaken as he prepares to reclaim his spot among Pakistan's elite fast bowlers.

The youngster burst onto the scene during the 2023 Pakistan Super League (PSL), where he claimed 22 wickets in 12 matches for the Multan Sultans at an average of 15.77, finishing as the second-highest wicket-taker. His lethal pace and spirited celebrations captivated fans, earning him a place in Pakistan's national T20I squad. There, he continued to shine, picking up six wickets in four matches at an impressive average of 18.
However, injuries to his elbow and shoulder threatened to derail his promising career. Despite these setbacks, Ihsanullah made a brief return to competitive cricket in the Champions T20 Cup in December 2024, playing for the Dolphins. Though he managed only two wickets in four matches at an average of 62.50, it was a critical step in his journey to regain match fitness. Frustratingly, he was overlooked for Pakistan's recent tours of Australia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, and the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025, fueling his desire to prove his worth.
In an emotional interview, Ihsanullah declared, "It doesn't matter whether my elbow is straight or not. I will start bowling at 150, 155, or 160 kph in one month and show the people and shut their mouths." His passion was further evident when he briefly announced his retirement from the PSL in January 2025 after being snubbed in the PSL 10 draft, only to reverse the decision hours later. "There's no plan for retirement," he admitted, attributing his outburst to emotional distress influenced by friends and family.
Now focused on domestic cricket, Ihsanullah aims to regain his place in the PSL and national squad. "I'll make the doubters chase me," he promised, determined to prove that his best is yet to come.
