Fast bowler Ihsanullah reversed his decision just hours after announcing his sudden retirement from the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The 22-year-old issued an apology, admitting that his announcement was made impulsively in the heat of the moment. The Pakistani pacer had initially declared his retirement after being excluded from the season 10 draft, expressing frustration over the lack of recognition for his consistent performances.

The young cricketer had opted to step away from Pakistan's premier T20 league due to his dissatisfaction with the perceived oversight.
"There's no plan for retirement, I announced the decision yesterday in emotions", he said as quoted by ARY News.
"When I wasn't picked in the PSL draft, my friends & family also messed with my head and I announced retirement in the heat of the moment", he further added.
The 22-year-old pledged to put in the hard work needed to make a strong return to domestic cricket, aiming to secure interest from teams in future drafts. He also extended an apology to the Multan Sultans for his earlier remarks.
He gained recognition for his outstanding performance in PSL 8, where he took 22 wickets at an economy rate of 7.59 for Multan Sultans. His impressive display earned him a spot in Pakistan's T20I squad. He made his international debut against Afghanistan in March 2023 and later played in a series against New Zealand. During the same series, he also received his first ODI cap.
However, his promising career took a sudden setback due to an elbow injury, sparking controversy over the management of his recovery. An independent inquiry into the situation led to the resignation of Pakistan's chief medical officer, drawing attention to the mishandling of his rehabilitation.
After several months away from the game, Ihsanullah made his return to competitive cricket during the Champions T20 Cup. While he only took two wickets in four matches, the comeback was a crucial step in his journey to regain both form and fitness.
