
The inaugural season of ILT20 has taken a conclusion on Sunday (February 12) after a jam-packed final saw Gulf Giants winning the tournament with a comprehensive victory over Desert Vipers.
Gulf Giants' pulled up a fantastic all-round display in the Final and Carlos Brathwaite and Chris Lynn played a huge part in their victory. Brathwaite picked up 3 wickets with the ball, while Lynn (72* off 50 balls) played a brilliant knock with the bat during the chase.
There were plenty of awards that were given to players after the end of the tournament. ILT20 has introduced a belt system in their awards, as the cricketers with top performances got hold of their belts.

Alex Hales got the award for scoring most runs in the tournament. He scored 469 runs at an average of 46.9 throughout the tournament. He also scored 4 fifties in the tournament, joint most in the competition, along with a hundred to his name.
Chris Jordan got the award for picking up maximum wickets in the tournament. The Gulf Giants bowler had 20 scalps to his name.
Most Valuable Player and England all-rounder Chris Jordan won it. He picked up hi 20 wickets at an average of 13.8.
Most Valuable UAE Player was awarded the Blue Belt and Muhammad Waseem got the award.
