Dubai Capitals clinched their maiden DP World ILT20 title with a thrilling four-wicket victory over Desert Vipers in the Season 3 final at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Overcoming last season's disappointment, the Capitals chased down 189 in 19.2 overs, securing the championship.

Sikandar Raza was the hero of the night, smashing a 12-ball 34 to seal the win in the final over. Earlier, Rovman Powell's blistering 63 and Shai Hope's composed 43 laid a strong foundation. The chase, however, started poorly, with David Warner falling in the second over to David Payne, followed by quick strikes from Mohammad Amir that removed Gulbadin Naib and captain Sam Billings. At 39/3 after six overs, Hope and Powell stabilized the innings. Powell's aggressive stroke play, coupled with Hope's calculated approach, brought the Capitals back into the contest.

Hope departed in the 14th over after a 50-run stand, but Powell carried on, reaching his half-century in 30 balls. Dasun Shanaka's quick 21 added momentum before he fell in the 17th over. Powell's dismissal in the 18th over left the Capitals needing a late surge, which Raza delivered with three boundaries off Amir in the penultimate over. He finished the job with a six and a four off Curran in the final over.

Shai Hope walk away with the Green Belt (best batter), finishing the competition with 529 runs. MI Emirates' Fazalhaq Farooqi claimed the White Belt (best bowler) for his 21 wickets in 11 innings.

Sam Curran finished the tournament with 387 runs in 12 innings and seven wickets and received the Red Belt as the most valuable player of the season. MI Emirates' Muhammad Waseem bagged the Blue Belt awarded to the best UAE players for a third consecutive season.
