ILT20 Season 3: Zee Entertainment Aims High with Expanded Broadcast across 15 TV Channels & ZEE5

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) has officially announced its comprehensive broadcast plan for the much-anticipated third season of the DP World International League T20 (ILT20).

The tournament will be aired live across 15 of Zee's TV channels, as well as its digital streaming platform, ZEE5, beginning January 11, 2025. This expansive coverage will offer a free-to-view experience on ZEE5, along with exclusive activations and match tickets soon to be unveiled.

With the matches set to be held at three iconic UAE venues-Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah-ILT20 Season 3 is poised to build on the success of its previous editions.

The league, running until February 9, 2025, is expected to engage over 230 million viewers in India, thanks to the inclusion of South Indian regional channels, enhancing the tournament's reach to a more diverse and linguistically varied audience.

Zee's 15 linear TV channels slated for broadcasting the ILT20 include:

• Zee Anmol Cinema 2, Zee Action, Zee Biskope

Cricket fans will also enjoy free-to-view streaming on one of India's leading OTT platforms-ZEE5-making the league accessible to audiences beyond traditional TV.

The player lineup for Season 3 remains impressive, featuring global cricketing icons such as David Warner, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Nicholas Pooran, Lockie Ferguson, Wanindu Hasaranga, and Jake Fraser McGurk, among others.

ILT20's Rising Global Appeal

In its second season, DP World ILT20 drew over 200,000 attendees for 34 games and established itself as the second most-watched T20 cricket league worldwide. Season 2 amassed a staggering 348 million unique viewers globally, with 221 million coming from India.

The league also boasts a broad demographic appeal, with 46% of its audience being female and 55% youth viewership in India, further highlighting its widespread popularity as a household entertainment option.

The ILT20 follows a franchise-style tournament format, featuring six teams:

• Gulf Giants (Adani Sportsline)
• MI Emirates (Reliance Industries)
• Sharjah Warriorz (Capri Global)
