After the dismal series defeat against New Zealand, team India are bracing up for the litmus test against Australia.
The five-match Test series in the Border Gavaskar Trophy will be the ultimate challenge for Rohit Sharma and his troops to showcase their resilience, which will be crucial for their WTC final hopes as well.

Ahead of India's Test tour in Australia, two players, KL Rahul and Dhruv Jurel are being sent prior to the entire team.
KL Rahu and Dhruv Jurel both are drafted into the India A squad for the 2nd unofficial Test against Australia A.
Rahul and Jurel both played a minimal part in the recently concluded series against New Zealand. The former was dropped after playing the first Test, while Jurel remained an understudy of Rishabh Pant, who had an excellent outing despite India's awful result. Jurel's only involvement was in the 2nd innings in Bengaluru, where he kept wickets following a knee injury to Pant.
Rahul and Jurel both are part of the Indian squad for the upcoming five-match Test series in Australia. Although the remaining team members will take a later flight, the duo are being sent down-under by Tuesday (November 5).
India A will play the 2nd unofficial Test, which starts from November 7. The Ruturaj Gaikwad-led team lost the first match and will be aiming to bounce back in the final encounter. An intra-squad match, which was originally scheduled, has been scrapped owing injury threats and the team will now play a match simulation ahead of the first Test in Perth, slated to start on November 22.
Rahul has lost his place in the Indian team but a good outing in the match against Australia A may open up a place for him, particularly with the ongoing uncertainty of Rohit Sharma, who is likely to miss the Perth Test due to personal reasons. Jurel is set to replace Ishan Kishan for the 2nd Test as well, who is already in murky waters after controversial comments.
