IND vs AFG: The Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi is set to stage India's second match in the ICC World Cup 2023 when the home side face Afghanistan on Wednesday (October 11) afternoon. But fans can't wait for another mini battle - Virat Kohli vs Naveen Ul Haq.
Earlier this year during IPL 2023, the pair were involved in a verbal spat on the field when Lucknow Super Giants lost to Royal Challengers Bangalore in Lucknow. That spat took an ugly turn after the match, leading to LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir also getting invovled.

Post that incident, the Afgahnistan pacer has taken veiled digs at Kohli by posting pictures and stories of mangoes on social media, while the Indian fans have taunted the Afghan pacer with 'Kohli, Kohli' chants whenever he has fielded on the boundaries.
Since the scuffle in IPL 2023, the two players have not played against each other. But now, the stage is set for the battle to resume as fans took to social media ahead of the India vs Afghanistan match to post memes of the potential battle on the cards.
Many fans believe that there is every chance Kohli will recreate the scene from one of his encounters with Kesrick Williams from 2017 when he was in punishing mode against the West Indies pacer, who also had a mini battle with the star Indian batter.
Some fans took to another level by claiming that Gambhir will be commentating during the Kohli vs Naveen Ul Haq battle at the Arun Jaitley Stadium today, giving it a vibe of a cinema.
While the fans believe Kohli will have his say in the battle, Vijay Dahiya, one of the members of the LSG support staff, backed Naveen Ul Haq to come good under pressure in a video posted by the IPL franchise.
Kohli and India will have the chance to make it two wins in two, having beaten Australia in their campaign opener at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The Men in Blue will also look to maintain their unbeaten run against today's opponents.
Meanwhile. Naveen Ul Haq and Afgahnistan will be looking to bounce back, having started their World Cup campaign with a defeat to Bangladesh at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala.
