This time around, India batted first and set a 12-run target for Afghanistan who could manage just one run. There were two moments in the match which could have saved India a few runs and helped them win the match by the end of first Super Over at least.

Rohit Sharma vented out his anger and frustration on both the occasions. The first instance took place when Mukesh Kumar bowled a wide as India looked to defend 19 runs from the final six deliveries.

The first ball of the 20th over was declared wide by the umpire but Rohit Sharma was not convinced. He looked agitated and animated as he argued with the umpire. But the call from the umpire was justified as the ball was well past the wide mark even as Gulbadin Naib moved around a little.

The second instance came after the final delivery of the Afghanistan innings during the first Super Over. Mohammad Nabi swung and missed a yorker length delivery from Mukesh Kumar and set off for a single. Meanwhile, Sanju Samson made an underarm throw which deflected towards long-on after hitting Nabi's pad.

Afghanistan made full use of the opportunity and ran two more runs to make it three byes and set India a 17-run target. Rohit Sharma was mighty unimpressed and expressed his anger directly to Nabi.

Rohit Sharma had the last laugh later as he scored all the 11 runs in the second Super Over, and his brilliant decision to bowl Ravi Bishnoi paid rich dividends and helped India win the match comfortably in the end. Rohit scored unbeaten 121 runs off 69 balls after opting to bat first. He also slammed two sixes in the first Super Over.
