After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Australia have set a 270-run target for India in the series-deciding third ODI in Chennai. Mitchell Marsh continued his good run in the series and scored run-a-ball 47.
The openers were again solid for Australia and they stitched a 68 runs partnership together to give Australia an early edge.

However, things soon turned south after Hardik Pandya removed Travis Head (33) on the fifth ball of the eleventh over.
Hardik struck soon again to dismiss Australia captain Steve Smith for a 3-ball duck. Marsh was the all-rounder third victim after he got castled in the 15th over.
David Warner, who was named in the eleven in place of Cameron Green, walked in at four in the match and stitched a 40-run partnership with Marnus Labuschagne (28 off 45).
But he failed to capitalise on the start and got out to Kuldeep Yadav in the 25th over of the match. The southpaw scored 23 runs off 31 while batting in the middle for only the second time in his 14-year-long ODI career.
Kuldeep soon got rid of Labuschagne as well as the batter got caught at long-off by Shubman Gill while trying to go for a maximum.

Alex Carey (38 off 46) and Marcus Stoinis (25 off 26) tried to hold fort but Axar Patel sent the latter packing in the 37th over to break the 58-run partnership and reduce Australia to 196/6.
On the first ball of the next over, a stunning delivery from Kuldeep pitched on the middle and leg turned sharply to clear the off-stump of Carey.
Australia's number eight Sean Abbott played a counter-attacking innings to score 26 off 23 to forge a 42-run partnership of 41 balls with Ashton Agar.
It was Axar again who broke Australia's momentum by cleaning Abbott's stump on the final ball of the 45th over.
Mohammed Siraj cleared Australia's tail by dismissing Agar (17) and Starc in the 46th and 49th over respectively.
