IND vs AUS: After winning the Mohali ODI by five wickets and Indore ODI by 99 runs (DLS method), India look all set to register a 3-0 series over Australia at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot on Sunday, September 27.

The match will be the final dress rehearsal opportunity for India and Australia ahead of the World Cup 2023. They will play two warm-up matches each in the lead up to the World Cup 2023 which starts from October 5, but those games will not have international ODI status.

An Australian win is highly unlikely and a full-strength Indian team will look to whitewash the visitors 3-0 on Wednesday. The likes of Virat Kohl, Rohit Sharma, and Kuldeep Yadav have joined the squad ahead of the first ODI.

However, the likes of Shubman Gill, Shardul Thakur, Hardik Pandya, Mohammed Shami and Axar Patel are unavailable for the match. Despite the challenges India have a team which can put pressure on Australia.

Pat Cummins rested himself in the second ODI but in all likelihood would take the field alongside Mitchell Starc and Glenn Maxwell. Australia too haven't fielded their full strength playing eleven and would like to try out their best combination in Rajkot.

The venue has hosted just one India versus Australia ODI till date. In the match played on January 17, 2020, India piled up 340/6 before bundling out Australia for 304 in 49.1 overs to win the match by 36 runs.

The momentum is on India's side and Australia are definitely under pressure after losing each of their last five matches. A 3-0 series win is very well on cards for India who are looking unstoppable in all the departments of the game as of now.
