The match will continue till 12:50 pm IST, which means around three hours from the conclusion of the first day in Brisbane. If the rain continues like this for around 30 minutes more, any further play in Brisbane may be in jeopardy.

Hello and Welcome to the Latest Weather Updates from Brisbane for the 3rd Test between India and Australia. At the moment, the rain is incessant as it pours down.
Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first, setting the stage for a thrilling encounter with the series evenly poised at 1-1.
Explaining his decision to field first, Rohit Sharma pointed to the favorable bowling conditions at the Gabba. The last five matches at this venue have all been won by teams bowling first.
"A little bit overcast and a little bit of grass, looks a bit soft as well; we want to make the best use of the conditions," Rohit said. He also underscored the importance of making bold changes to the playing XI, as India looks to recover from their defeat in the second Test.
India has introduced two fresh faces for this crucial clash. Ravindra Jadeja has replaced Ravichandran Ashwin to bolster the batting depth and add a left-arm spin option. Additionally, right-arm pacer Akash Deep comes in for Harshit Rana, aiming to enhance India's bowling attack.
Australian captain Pat Cummins admitted that he too would have opted to bowl first under similar conditions.
"We would've bowled first too," Cummins said. "It's been a fantastic series so far. Really happy with how everyone contributed last week."
Australia has made one change to their lineup, bringing in Josh Hazlewood, who returns from a side injury, to replace Scott Boland. Hazlewood's inclusion strengthens Australia's already formidable bowling lineup.
India XI: Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant (w), Rohit Sharma (c), Ravindra Jadeja, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Akash Deep
Australia XI: Usman Khawaja, Nathan McSweeney, Marnus Labuschagne, Steven Smith, Travis Head, Mitchell Marsh, Alex Carey (w), Pat Cummins (c), Mitchell Starc, Nathan Lyon, Josh Hazlewood
With the series tied at 1-1, the Gabba Test could prove decisive in determining the Border-Gavaskar Trophy's ultimate outcome. India will rely on its revamped lineup and improved bowling strength to gain an edge, while Australia looks to capitalize on Hazlewood's return and maintain their stronghold at home. Both sides are geared up for what promises to be a high-stakes encounter.
