IND vs AUS, 3rd Test : Mohammed Siraj-Marnus Labuschagne Engage In Hilarious Bails-Exchange Battle- WATCH

IND vs AUS : India's star pacer Mohammed Siraj and Australia batter Marnus Labuschagne engaged in a hilarious face-off during the 2nd day of the ongoing 3rd Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024 at the Gabba on 15th December, 2024.

The moment had everyone in splits as Siraj after a fiery and more heated exchange with Travis Head in the earlier Test, also showed aggression but this time it was all mind-games.

IND vs AUS Mohammed Siraj Marnus Labuschagne

During the match, Siraj repeatedly challenged Labuschagne's outside edge but without success, which only fueled the Indian pacer's determination to up his efforts. Just when it seemed the two might engage in a fiery exchange of glares and words, Siraj chose a different route, mirroring the approach England great Stuart Broad once used against the Australian batter.

Siraj went up to the stumps and exchange the bails. However, Labuschagne, recalling Broad's actions, quickly adjusted the bail back to its original spot.

Stuart Broad once dismissed Labuschagne after switching the bails and to be on the safe side, the 30-year-old Australian restored the bails to it's original position, possibly to keep the luck on his side. The video of the incident has now gone viral on social media.

Labuschagne's stay at the crease was short-lived, as Nitish Kumar Reddy capitalized on a wide delivery that tempted the Australian batter to drive at the ball, outside the off-stump. The bail incident seemed to shift the momentum in India's favor, with Kohli taking a straightforward catch in the slips to send Labuschagne back.

The 1st day of the Test saw only 13.2 overs been bowled as the entire was washed out due to incessant rainfall. The following day is much better and India already got the early breakthroughs from Jasprit Bumrah as he picked up the wickets of Usman Khawaja and Nathan McSweeney before Reddy got the wicket of Labuschagne.

At the time of writing this article, Australia were at 104/3 at lunch break.
